Studio
The outcome-first front page. The newest deliverable plays at theater scale, one page per track, with a console beside it to steer without leaving the room.
Studio is the screening room for what your squad shipped. Where Home is the briefing desk (a conversation with Maestro), Studio is outcome-first: the most recent deliverable — a prototype, a deck, a document — plays on a stage at theater scale, and a console beside it lets you steer the track that produced it without leaving the page.
It lives in the sidebar as Studio, at /{workspace}/studio, between Home and Inbox.
The stage reel
The stage is a pager over your squad's recent outcomes, and its unit is the track, not the file. Each page belongs to one track; within a track, the newest delivery burst competes on richness and the most stage-worthy artifact takes the plate — apps and sites beat decks, decks beat media, media beats documents. Working files never take the stage.
Moving through the reel works however your hands are already positioned:
- Chevrons overlaid on the artifact (they reveal on hover)
- ← / → arrow keys, captured at the page level so they work even while an embedded prototype has focus
- Two-finger trackpad swipe, with dominant-axis detection so vertical scrolling never accidentally pages
- Pager dots under the stage
- Elsewhere — a thumbnail rail of the other pages on the reel, for jumping straight to a specific outcome
The header greets you by time of day and carries a one-line pulse: how many drops landed in the last day and how many tracks are running right now.
The console
On larger screens a console sits beside the stage, scoped to the focused outcome:
- The file: name, version count, and share / publish / download / full-screen controls
- The owning track: a link straight to the track that produced the artifact
- Hand-off note: the lead agent's latest comment on the track, so you know what state the work was left in
- Inline decisions: if the track has a pending decision request, you answer it right there — pick an option, add a note, the agent resumes
- Live pill: a pulsing "live" indicator when an agent is executing on that track at this moment
- Ask agent: a bar at the bottom to hand the artifact to an agent with context prefilled (the same Ask agent bar as the Gallery)
Studio and Gallery share the same outcome feed. Studio curates it into one hero per track for watching; Gallery is the full wall of everything, filterable and searchable. Nothing appears in one that isn't in the other.
When it's empty
Before your squad ships its first artifact, the stage shows a quiet empty state: "Nothing on the stage yet." Assign a track that produces a deliverable and its outcome premieres here.
